Having been with Estes for more than 35 years, Michael (Mike) purchased Estes Commercial Refrigeration, Inc. from one of the founding partners of Estes, Palmer Estes, shortly after the passing of his father and founding partner, Peter Doninelli, in 1986.
Since Mike took over in ’86 the company has grown over 800% in annual revenue. Known in the early days primarily as a service company in the Bay Area, under Mike’s leadership, Estes has greatly broadened both the customer base and the services provided to our customers.
Mark A. Doninelli – Vice President of Operations
After graduating from Washington State University in 1991, Mark spent the last 11 years in the manufacturing industry, most of which in aerospace, gaining extensive experience in business management, supply chain management, and contract sales.
Recently Mark held positions at Fortune 500 companies in the capacity of General Manager of divisions as large as $65,000,000 in annual revenue and 425 employees. Over the years Mark as always been close to the operations of Estes and officially joined the Estes team on a full time basis in late 2005.
David Nelson – Service Manager
Starting at Estes in 1980 in the warehouse, Dave has held several positions over his 26 plus years with Estes. In 1984 Dave started taking simple commercial and industrial service calls until 1987 when he reached full Journeyman status.
By the mid 90’s Dave’s focus had turned to the Bay Area’s growing bio-tech and pharmaceutical industry, within a few years he grew the customer base by more than 300% and went on to form Estes’ Life Science Division. Promoted to Service and Life Sciences Manger in 2002 where he continues to help Estes become a world class refrigeration company.
Noreen Leon – Operations Manager
Starting with Estes in 1992 in the estimating department, Noreen worked into contracts, accounting, and warehouse functions. Presently Operations Manager who oversees all aspects of internal office practices and procedures.
Noreen brings 30 years work experience in transportation, and procurement purchases in Commercial/Industrial Refrigeration and Government Contracts/Aerospace division Kwajalein Missile Range, Marshall Islands.
